4tcCAN is a four channel thermocouple CAN output module. ECM’s Configuration Software is used to set up the module (Baud Rate, Node ID, Broadcast Rate, Thermocouple Type). Each of the four channels can be individually assigned to measure a J, K (default), or T type thermocouple. The temperature information of all four channels is updated at a fixed rate of 5 Hz (every 200ms), however the module’s broadcast rate of this information can be can be sent at a higher or lower value. 4tcCAN is supplied with four mini, female, K-type thermocouple connectors. The black connector is a Deutsch P/N: DTM06-12B. The terminal lock is P/N: WM12S. Terminals are P/N: 0462-201-2031 and are crimped using tool P/N: HDT-48-00.
Recommended module power is 12V to 24V (28V Maximum). Current draw is 25mA @ 24V.
Module (Electronics) Temperature Range: -40 to 85 ⁰C
Enclosure is 145mm x 120mm x 60mm and IP67.

- The thermocouples are isolated from each other, power, and CAN.
